standing committee FIFA■ A permanent body of FIFA appointed to deal with specific aspects of football and its organisation, according to the remit contained in the relevant organisation regulations.► The members of each standing committee are designated by the FIFA Executive Committee on the proposal of the FIFA member associations, the FIFA president or the confederations. The chairmen, deputy chairmen and the members of the standing committees shall be designated for a term of office of four years.
